The Garden of Courage and Love is an ongoing artist project by JooYoung Choi where participants create flowers representing people who have shown them unconditional love. These flowers will be added to a growing garden that has been exhibited in multiple installations. Participants will create two larger flowers—one to take home and one to donate to the garden—and three small practice flowers during the workshop under the guidance of Choi.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have created three practice flowers (they can keep or donate the practice flowers) and two larger flowers—one to keep and one to donate. These meaningful creations will join the Garden of Courage and Love, reflecting each participant’s creativity and honoring the people they cherish.

Participants must be 9 years old or older. Caregivers must be 18 years old or older and stay with their children at all times. Adults will need to assist their children during the workshop with staple guns, glue guns, sharp scissors, and other tools.

The workshop is limited to 20 people.
