BRONZE FOUNDRY 2:THE POUR 

Explore the ancient art of bronze casting. In the summer portion of this two-part class, students will work together learning the practice of running a foundry. Safety and teamwork will be emphasized as students work as a team to pour molten bronze into their molds. Metal finishing with hand and power tools will be taught to refine their work. Patina techniques will be used to finish the sculptures and bring the student’s work to life.
