A six-week introduction to the process of raku firing. If you’ve been curious about flashy copper glazes, unique crackle effects, burnished surfaces, or how horsehair can transform a pot, this class is for you. Your first four weeks will be spent making pieces and viewing samples of the anticipated results. Return for two weeks of class to glaze and fire your work in several alternative and traditional raku methods.
