BOTANICAL CYANOTYPES WITH ENCAUSTICS

Combining two historic processes, the 19th century photo process - cyanotype and the ancient craft of beeswax and resin - encaustic, you will truly make a one of a kind, work of art. You’ll hand coat watercolor paper, expose your arranged grasses, ferns and/or flowers in the sun as a starting point. Dried prints will be prepped and worked on in the encaustic studio, layering wax and hand coloring to create a dimensional dream like image.
