Bring stories to life in clay as we explore hand-building techniques inspired by folk art, nature, and the imagination. Students will create functional and decorative pieces—including houses, animals, vessels, and sculptural forms—while developing skills in slab, coil, and pinch construction. Emphasis will be placed on texture, surface design, glazing, and cultivating a personal artistic voice. This class encourages experimentation and creativity in a supportive studio environment, inviting artists to discover the many possibilities of handmade ceramics.
