Soft Sculpture 

Discover the soft side of sculpture in this experimental class. Investigate fabric’s potential as an alternative medium for creating three-dimensional forms. Students will draft patterns, use embroidery and appliqué to add linear elements and color, and create original fabric sculptures. Because the studios have a limited number of sewing machines, those students who can bring their own machines to class should do so. Hand sewing will also be encouraged!
