Explore the many exciting forms that can be created from clay slabs. Students will learn how to design and fabricate their own bisque molds and templates to use in making a variety of vessels—from bowls, cups, and plates to more complex forms such as lidded jars, stacked vases, and candle holders. Various surface treatments will also be demonstrated. High-fire stoneware and low-fire earthenware clays will be available for use. Bring a sketchbook to class.
