SLAB BUILDING WITH STONEWARE

Personalize your hand-built forms using custom bisque molds and the studio’s plaster mold collection. Working with stoneware clay, learn to build custom molds for use throughout the session, and then learn how to create customized templates for slab building with the molds. Various surface treatments will be demonstrated, including the use of slips, custom sprigs, and appliques. Pots will be fired in the studio’s high fire, reduction kilns.
