Printing Furoshiki

PRINTING FUROSHIKI

Furoshiki are cloths used by the Japanese to wrap gifts, parcels, and other small objects that need to be carried. You will make a simple stamping matrix and learn how to use it to print cloth with a repeat pattern, to create your own furoshiki. You will also learn different ways to tie furoshiki as a container for various gifts and objects. Please bring lunch to this all day workshop.
