Layering Metals

Utilizing layers in jewelry and metalsmithing creates flexibility to create impactful designs. In this demonstration style class, explore different techniques for layering in our designs including other materials, mixed metals, texture, piercing, rivets, and soldering. Students will be presented with visual inspiration each week with guidance for creating their own-layered designs.
