Fairytale Motifs in Ceramic Sculpture 

Prerequisite: Beginning ceramics

Explore the possibilities that images from myth and fairy tales can provide, replete with mythical characters, enchantment, and fantastic settings. The focus of this class will be on building ceramic vessels, sculptures, and wall reliefs with your garden in mind. The instructor will provide a forum to share and discuss ideas and potential projects. Students will have the opportunity to work with traditional glazes as well as non-traditional finishing techniques of waxes, polishes, and acrylics.
