EGG TEMPERA PAINTING

Learn the basics of this classic technique that originated in antiquity and was a primary painting medium for centuries until the Renaissance.  This class will introduce you to both traditional and newer methods of underpainting, preparing and layering paint to achieve luminous results. Pigments and eggs are provided; gesso panels may also be purchased on site.
