DAHLIAS

Dahlias are exquisite flowers to photograph, and going to the source on a sunny afternoon is a perfect opportunity to capture their beauty. Besides photographing a variety of dahlias in a local garden, we’ll also have cut flowers with various surface backgrounds for photographing in natural light. Bring your camera with manual settings, including at least a 40-60 mm lens. A tripod and macro gear are optional, but suggested if you have them.

Prerequisite: Familiarity with your camera that is capable of manual exposure
