BOTANICAL PRINTMAKING

Create a colorful wreath using fresh leaves and flowers. The botanical materials will be hand-rubbed onto printmaking paper after being coated with special paints.  When this process is done in a circular shape, the results are a lovely 20x20 piece suitable for framing.  We will warm up by printing some card-size pieces. You will leave with a unique work and several small prints. Students are encouraged to bring plant specimens of their own; some will also be provided.
