Book Discussion: Whistler by Ann Patchett

Wednesday November 18

Other dates...

2:00 PM  –  3:00 PM

Following a chance encounter at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Daphne Fuller rekindles a tender relationship with her estranged stepfather Eddie Trott. Though many years have passed, their early and profound connection drives the desire to reconnect at this stage in their lives. Intertwined with the story of a horse named Whistler, Daphne and Eddie learn that family comes in many different forms. Themes in this discussion will tie into Among the Beasts.

All book discussions are free and open to the public.  Participants do not need to have read the book but it will help facilitate overall discussion.

The Meader Fine Arts Library is a free resource open to the public. The library is open Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 11am-3pm.  Members can borrow books and other materials, but all are welcome to use the library.
