Wednesday December 16

Other dates...

2:00 PM  –  3:00 PM

Fashion critic and curator Charlie Porter explores the fascinating connections between artists and their clothing. Highlighting a wide range of artists and styles from Basquiat to Warhol, Porter creates a sweeping narrative. Whether curating personal identity, extending their artistry, or influencing public perception, this collection of essays, reflections, and interviews is an interesting take on understanding art in its many different forms. Themes in this discussion will tie into Statement Pieces.

All book discussions are free and open to the public.  Participants do not need to have read the book but it will help facilitate overall discussion.

The Meader Fine Arts Library is a free resource open to the public. The library is open Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 11am-3pm.  Members can borrow books and other materials, but all are welcome to use the library.
