ANAGAMA ONLINE 

This online class is designed for the accomplished ceramicist and veteran of wood fire. You will work from your home studio but join a Zoom discussion of the aesthetics of our wood kiln, clay bodies, loading, glazing and the firing schedule. This class will combine with the spring session Anagama class for a four-day firing in late September. KIA wood firing requires on-site participation and a commitment to all aspects of the process: wood prep, kiln loading, firing and unloading. The fruits of your labor are unique pots touched by flame and ash, and an unforgettable communal experience. Glazes are provided; clay and bisque firing are not included.
