Whether you are brand new to the process or are just looking for some fresh tips and tricks, join us at the KIA to learn more through hands-on experience! This event is led by Michiko Yoshimoto, Program Manager at Western Michigan University’s Soga Japan Center, in conjunction with the KIA’s ongoing exhibition, Sugoi! 200 Years of Japanese Art.

The Soga Japan Center at WMU is committed to advancing knowledge of Japanese history, culture, science, business, and technology throughout southwest Michigan. It serves this mission by providing community outreach, a rich variety of educational programs, and support for both Japanese exchange students as well as students and faculty conducting research on Japan.
