Hamilton will dissect the given circumstances of A Raisin in the Sun through a detailed excavation of Hansberry's text, allowing identification of  the timeless themes included in her work. Special attention will be directed toward cultural relevance (past and present), the life of Lorraine Hansberry, and the social/historical context needed to understand the play's content.
