Join Rehema Barber and Larry Ossei-Mensah for an inside look at the KIA’s newest exhibition: Unmasking Masculinity for the 21st Century. Barber and Ossei-Mensah, who are co-curators for the exhibition, will offer insight into how this exhibition transformed from an idea to an installation. They will share the successes, challenges, and unexpected surprises they encountered.

Rehema Barber is the Chief Curator at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, a position she has held since 2019. Larry Ossei-Mensah is a Ghanaian-American independent curator and cultural critic who has documented contemporary art happenings for various publications including Uptown and Whitewall Magazine
