Sculpture resident Jose Velarde-Chan is from Lansing, and studied mixed media sculpture, pencil, and paperwork at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. He wants to continue his art practice after the KNAS residency, wherever that may take him. Marissa Klee-Peregon is a Kalamazoo native. She attended Wellesley College in Massachusetts and focuses on interdisciplinary work including sewn sculpture, performance/ video work, and digital photography.
